Indicators are commonly used in the world of statistics to determine measures of success. When a grantee applies for grant from the Ananda Foundation, part of our requirements is that they come up with their own ideas on how to measure project outcomes. The idea is: 1) To think about outcomes 2) To have a thoughtful plan and 3) To ascertain the sustainability of the project. It is the hope of the Ananda Foundation that we help the grantees accomplish this process. These same indicators that are mentioned in a grantee's proposal are then used to evaluate the project at the end of the grant period. The results will then be used in a written lessons learned section of the final report. This way, grantees evaluate themselves by their own criteria and merit.

Microcredit Latrines	Incidence of diarrheal & waterborne disease decrease. 80% of health and sanitation trainings are attended by microcredit participants. 85% Loan recovery
ARV for AIDS Children	100% coverage of medication for pts. Children receive loving support & compassion.
W omen's Microcredit	100% of women participate in program intervention progressively over the three year period. All target beneficiaries income level is improved through their active participation in ICA through microcredit support. 50% (from a baseline of 0%) Economic empowerment of women will be realized through their ability to participate in the decision making process of their own productive activities. Women participate in the decision making process for marriage issue of their own children. Group savings fund is created 100% recovery on loans
Nonformal Education	85% of participants will attend all trainings. 90% of seminar participants have higher post-test scores than their pre-test scores during trainings. 80% of participants will participate in a microcredit enterprise.
Pham Van Hai Center	80% of children attend classes regularly and actively. 80% of children are able to be promoted into higher classes. 80% of parents attend all the training courses and workshop. 80% of parents improve their behavior & attitude in nurturing their children.
Education for Dalit women	A computer center functioning regularly and systematically. Seventy-five students attending the computer classes in batches of 25 daily Three teachers proficient in computer skills and applications. A center equipped with computers and necessary infrastructure to facilitate a healthy environment for learning. # of of students obtaining a Diploma annually. Syllabus, curriculum, periodic tests, and exam schedules followed.
