We
see ourselves as a bridge between the underdeveloped and the
developed world. One way that we hope to give back is by using
our experience as a forum for ideas, intellectual exchange,
and to dialogue challenges faced by people living in poverty.
We hope to share with everyday citizens the strategies being
employed to reduce the disparities and inequities faced by
over 80% of the world’s population. Anyone can be a humanitarian,
a peace maker, and an advocate for fellow human beings who
have not had the opportunity of an abundant life.
Ananda
Foundation staff welcomes opportunities to engage in community
discussion and to share our work to support organizations
working at the modest grassroots level to create global change.
If you would like us to do a presentation in
your community or at your school, please contact us. Specific
audiences include: Middle-school and high school students,
college students, community service groups, new donors to
international philanthropy, and donors interested in grassroots
philanthropy.
