Sherly (India Country Director)

Sherly, originally from Kerala resides in Bangalore, India and joined Ananda Foundation in 2006. She holds M.S.W and M.Phil degrees with a specialization in psychiatric social work. Sherly has worked in various positions with international organizations. She has experience in child rights, gender equity, issues faced by disabled persons, and women's issues. She uses her skills to be both an administrator and a grassroots advocate. Sherly's goals include facilitating efficient implementation of project objectives and maximizing community participation. She hopes to build the capacity of the grassroots organizations with a focus on creating lasting solutions and long term impact among communities helped by Ananda Foundation.
