Project TItle: Education Scholarships, Prosthesis, and Mobility aids for Children with Disability The purpose of this grant is to provide prostheses and rehabilitation for children who are disabled and to support educational expenses for disabled children from low-income families in the Nicaraguan communities of Chinandega, Chichigalpa, Managua, Leon and also Choluteca, Honduras. Project Specifics: This project provides assistance for twelve children between the ages of 3-12 to receive prosthesis: (leg prosthesis, arm prosthesis, and orthotic braces). Additionally, four children will be given wheelchairs. All sixteen children are receiving education scholarships.
